Marie B. Ahlquist

Marie B. Ahlquist (nee Langlois) , age 89, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at The Landing of Long Cove.  She was born Sunday, September 15, 1929 in Normandy, France to Jean-Paul and Aimee (nee Russell) Langlois.

Marie took pride in caring for her family and home.  As her children were growing up, she was a Cub Scout Assistant Master.  With an appreciation for knowledge, she enjoyed her time working as a Librarian Assistant.  A heart that loved to serve others, Marie also took pride in being an Usher at church and being an AA mentor.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. Ahlquist in 1991; and siblings, Albert Langlois, Francioise Harguyindeguy and Francois Langlois.

Marie is survived by: children, Deborah L. Westerman, Robert S. Ahlquist, Christopher A. Ahlquist and Teresa M. Araujo; grandchildren, Henry P. Westerman, Tiffany Ahlquist, Jensen Ahlquist, Amy M. Westerman, Jessica Mullen, Alexander Mullen, and Anna M. Araujo; great-grandchildren, Sylvia Mae Mullen, Lincoln Richards and Mia Stacy; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 12:00 noon until time of Prayer Service at 12:30 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 6094 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
