Roy E. Lester

Roy "Buddy" Lester, age 81, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties.  He was born Friday, March 12, 1937 in Charleston, West Virginia to Zemmery and Marie (nee Bailey) Lester and was joined by 7 siblings.

Buddy was the beloved husband for 52 years, of the late Virgie Mae (nee Crowley) Lester.  He was also preceded in death by: daughter, Rita: parents, Zem and Marie Lester; and siblings, Delphine, Patsy, Ruth, Cathryn, Jimmy and Rhonda.

Buddy is survived by: son, Steve Lester; daughter, Teresa (Don) Fueston; grandchildren, Jason (Christie) Lester, Eric Lester, Tarren Yost, Johnathan (Natalie) Cooper, Justin (Nicole) Fueston and Jessica Fueston; great-grandchildren, Molly, Reagan, Paityn, Remington and Lillian.

Buddy worked hard and played hard. He loved to go fishing, make woodworking projects, play horseshoes and cornhole and if you knew Buddy you knew he was a Wii Bowling fanatic. He admired classic cars and fast cars.

Visitation will be at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040 on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 9 AM until time of funeral service at 10:30 AM.  Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
