Carolyn Sue Engel

Carolyn Sue "Carol" Engel (nee Platt) 66, was born on October 27, 1951 and passed away on March 25, 2018. She was preceeded in death by her parents Gilbert and Marjorie Platt and her brothers Richard Platt, Gilbert (Bud) Platt, Glen Platt and Steve Platt. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband Jerry Engel, her dear children Richard (Tracy) Engel, Peter (Jill) Engel, Joel Engel and Sarah (Shawn) McManaway, her brothers Paul Platt, Bobby Platt and Phil Platt, and her grandchildren Aric Engel, Bailee Engel, Morgan Engel, A.J. Engel, Emma McManaway and Alyssa McManaway.

Carol was all about the family she was surrounded by. She was an adoring wife, a strong mother, and a loving grandmother. She loved her husband and children, but loved being a grandma to her grandchildren more than anything. It was her greatest joy.

Visitation at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason. Ohio 45040 on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.  Service at the funeral home Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
