Raymond C. 'Ray' Pfriem, 83, devoted father of Bob (Holly) and Ray (Carmen) Pfriem, loving Papa of Nick, Alec and Evelyn Pfriem, dear brother of Bob (Naomi), Lou (Pat) and the late Jim (Barbara), Mary (Bill) Hyne and George (Ellen), uncle of many nieces and nephews. Passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016.

Ray taught math for over 30 years at Walnut Hills High School, Dayton High School in Kentucky for 5 years and has tutored numerous students over the years. Ray enjoyed playing golf with his friends at Still Meadow and Ivy Hills. He golfed at numerous golf courses across the world including St. Andrews.  His greatest joy was his grandchildren. Ray was active volunteering at their schools and never missed a sporting event , always keeping a book at their basketball games. He was adored by all and called Papa by many.

Visitation at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, OH 45069 on Tuesday, July 26 from 9:30 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM.
