Robert Steven Payne, 71, beloved husband of Leslie (nee Sutter); dear father of Steven, Dennis and Spence (Kati) Payne; stepfather of Jeff Roberts and Paige Dupps (Matthew); brother of Mable Simpson, Pat Bacchus, Beryl Bufford (Mark), Barbara McBee, P. Lawrence Bacchus (June Lynn), William Bolton (Mary) and Hazel Smith (Cleo); grandfather of Logan, Zachary and Ezra; passed away January 1, 2008. He worked at Ford for over 50 years, served on the Board of Directors of Sharefax Credit Union and was an active member of Faith Community United Methodist Church, where he served in the Stephen Ministry. Visitation 5-8 pm Friday, January 4, at Faith Community United Methodist Church, 8230 Cox Road, West Chester, OH 45069. Memorial service will be at Faith Community United Methodist Church at 11 am on Saturday, January 5, 2008. Contributions may be made to the church. Arrangements by Mueller Parker Funeral Home.
