After only an hour of life, Arabella Reign Shouse went to be with the Lord, in the presence of her father, Kyle, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Following a beautiful, peace filled home birth, where she was surrounded by love and her family. She was born covered in meconium, which also filled her lungs, and was never able to take a breath.
Arabella is deeply missed by her parents, Kyle and Mackenzie, as well as her big brothers, Chase and Tyler. She is the answer to their prayers, as they awaited her arrival with joyful expectation. The whole family joined in the excitement of finding out she was a girl that day after months of hoping for a daughter and sister. If she could hear anything when she was born, she heard the worship music that played on repeat during labor, her mother’s voice singing over her, and the prayers of her parents and birth team as they fought to clear her lungs.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm at Mueller Funeral Home in Mason, OH. A memorial lunch will be held at the Harvester Farm to Table restaurant in Blanchester, OH at 1:00 pm. There will be a private burial for invited family only at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Kyle and Mackenzie would like to bless another family with something that they could not have. Although they are grateful for a few hours with their precious girl, no time ever seems like it’s enough, so they are asking for donations in order to purchase a Caring Cradle to give to a local hospital. Caring Cradle offers families up to 7 days with their deceased infants. All donations can be made to: GiveSendGo | Arabellas Blessing
