Audrey J. (nee Amberger) Deutsch, 95 of Mason formerly of St Bernard, passed away on August 18, 2025. Born to Francis and Loretto (nee Nortmann) Amberger on March 29, 1930, in Norwood, Ohio.

Audrey and Carl met when they were the young age of 16 at St Peter and Paul Church Festival. Their faith and love grew as they engrained themselves in the community and church for many years to come at St Clements.

Audrey had a passion for music. She instilled a love of music in her family and also played the piano. A talented seamstress and gardener and ice skater in her youth. She took time to enjoy life in all its facets.

She was a Registered Nurse who graduated from Mercy Hospital Nursing School and was always giving to others, making sure her family stayed in good health. Audrey loved to be in her garden and yard and kept herself busy volunteering at St Clements School and church groups.

Preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Carl L. Deutsch, siblings, Virginia Thielking, Frank Amberger, Dorothy Gillen, Phil Amberger, brothers and sisters in law, Dr Frank Cianciolo, Earl Thielking, Ruth Amberger, Marilyn Amberger.

Audrey is survived by devoted children, Carol Galler, Barbara (Charlie) Weber, Carl (Judy) Deutsch, James (Peggy) Deutsch and Thomas (Michelle) Deutsch, grandchildren, Becca (Leika Hillebrand) Galler, Alex Galler, Christina (Greg) Woertz, Nick (Tabby) Weber, Ben (Somer) Weber, Katie (Charles Magnan) Deutsch, Sarah (Chad) Beasley, Elizabeth (Jared) Fuhler, Anna (Charles) Sherman, Emma Deutsch, Maria Deutsch, Anna Claire Deutsch, Grace (Adam) Baur and Joey Deutsch.

She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Chloe (Tracey) Edwards, Maya Woertz, Ben Woertz, Ella Weber, Amelia and Renee Fuhler, Norah Beasley, Jacob Magnan, and Otto Sherman, her sister, Dee Cianciolo and brother-in-law, Dr John Gillen, an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th from 10:00-11:00am with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am all at St Clements Catholic Church, 4536 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45217. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired or Mason Christian Village Bereavement Committee.
