Carrie S. Smith

Carrie S. Smith, born February 17, 1981, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on March 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. A dedicated daycare teacher, Carrie devoted her professional life to nurturing and educating young children. She took great pride in her work, but above all, her proudest accomplishments were her children. Most recently, Carrie was a stay-at-home mom, and she valued family with all her heart. Carrie was a Bengals fan through and through, and she enjoyed watching every game decked out in the team's jersey and hat. She enjoyed many simple pleasures: she loved dolphins, the ocean, spending time in parks, and grilling out with those she cared about.

Carrie is survived by her fiancé, Chris Fromme; her children: Petyon Rhoades, Camryn Rhoades, Rylee Rhoades, Nick Fromme, and Kevin Fromme; her sister, Amy (Larry) Swigart; her mother, Karen (Richard) Perales; and numerous other relatives and friends. Carrie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Smith.
