Christa O. Bringman

Christa Orlick Bringman passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 6, 2026 at the age of 75. Born on April 29, 1951 in Evensen, Germany, she was the beloved daughter of Kurt and Frieda Orlick.

She dedicated her professional life to education, spending 35 years as a high school mathematics teacher, mostly at Bowling Green High School in Ohio. As an award-winning faculty member, she was known for her patience, clarity, and no-nonsense approach. She made geometry, calculus, and even German accessible to generations of students, proving that every problem had a solution.

At home, nothing was more important to her than family and she devoted her life to raising her sons. As a dedicated Mother, she raised them on the importance of an education with a strong moral foundation. This continued when they had families of their own where she embraced her role as Oma. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, making it to their sports events, and taking them to movies or dinners.

Outside the classroom, her creativity flourished through her love for sewing. She spent countless hours crafting beautiful quilts, costumes for school plays, hats for newborns, and various other projects, stitching love into every piece she made. Just as she mapped out complex geometric proofs, she precisely mapped out fabric patterns, leaving behind a tangible legacy of her talent.

She is survived by her brother, Herbert (Diana) Orlick; her children, Matthew (Caryn) Bringman and Peter (Alivia) Bringman; her nephew Stephen (Miranda) Orlick and her grandchildren, Ethan, Samuel, Theodore and Hayes Bringman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kurt and Frieda Orlick and her brother Richard Orlick

A visitation to celebrate her life will be held on June 13, 2026, from 10AM to 11AM at Mueller Funeral Home / 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, Ohio.  Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11AM.  Burial will take place at Rose Hill cemetery in Mason, Ohio.
