Christina Gibson

Christina Louise (nee Schalliol) Gibson , 77 of Mason, passed away on May 7, 2022. Born to Robert and Margaret (nee Kizer) Schalliol on May 7, 1945, in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Christina (Tina) taught preschool, kindergarten, and first grade for many years. Her love of children and teaching showed in her work and by the numerous families that kept in touch with her over the years.

Tina had a very creative side. Quilting, cross stitch, scrapbooking, and making cards for her family and friends were just a few of her crafting hobbies. She enjoyed a good puzzle, scrabble game, and was an avid reader.

Tina was a founding member of the Northern Kentucky PEO AP Chapter where she was a member for seven years. She was committed to keeping her network of friends close, whether they were local or from one of her many homes across the United States. Tina was social, enjoyed telling a good story, had an amazing sense of humor, and was loyal and committed to her family and many friends.

Preceded by her parents, Robert and Margaret Schalliol, and her husband, Terry Ellis Gibson.

Christina is survived by her loving sons, Brian (Darci) Gibson and Scott (Veronica Kratman) Gibson, four grandchildren, Nathan, Conner, Austin and Anna Gibson, brother, Charles (Jenny) Schalliol and sister-in-law, Kathleen Fox.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14th from 2:00-3:00pm with a memorial service at 3:00pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road Mason, OH 45040. Inurnment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christina’s name to Mason Christian Village or Crossroads Hospice.
