Donna Marie Chaney

Donna Marie (nee Tarpoff) Chaney, 73 of West Chester, passed away with her family by her side on July 9, 2025. Born to Nickola Peter and Frances 'Bella' (nee Stumpo) Tarpoff on July 2, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Donna was incredibly proud of her Italian Heritage. She was a fantastic cook with everyone's favorite being her spaghetti and meatballs. Warming their hearts with food was her love language.

Donna was the light that entered every room. She was positive, kind and sociable. She enjoyed the company of people and good food. Donna had a joyful sense about her that made you want to be around her.

She had a love of all types of country music, especially her beloved Kenny Chesney. Donna enjoyed celebrating holidays and backyard get togethers, cooking and playing her music completed her life.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandma. Her energy, love and kindness will be missed by so many people.

Preceded in death by her parents, Nickola and Frances "Bella" Tarpoff.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Michael W. Chaney, son, Michael (Jennifer) Chaney, grandsons, Connor and Corbin Chaney, siblings Debbie, Toni and Nick (Beverly) Tarpoff, niece and nephew, Nicole (Channing) Klein and Taylor (Sarah) Tarpoff, great niece and nephew, Lincoln Tarpoff and Bella Klein.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th from 10:00-12:00noon with a funeral service at 12:00noon all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040. Interment in Green Lawn Cemetery, Milford, Ohio.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
