Liberty Township, Ohio – Dorothy A. Kreyenhagen (nee Rusche) peacefully passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Orin N. Kreyenhagen, with whom she shared 61 wonderful years. As a devoted mother, she lovingly raised Bob (Karen) Kreyenhagen, Linda (Greg) Meyer, Mark (Denise) Kreyenhagen, and Bill (Jackie) Kreyenhagen. Her joy extended to her role as a cherished grandmother to Steve Meyer (Heidi Schmid), Katie (Zak) Black, Tommy (Katelyn) Kreyenhagen, Joey (Lauren) Kreyenhagen, and as a great-grandmother to Caleb, Lila, and Kirby Kreyenhagen, and Ben and Emma Black.

Dorothy was a devout Catholic who found fulfillment in volunteering at Mercy-Health Fairfield and West Chester Hospitals. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed traveling, socializing, and cherishing moments with her family. Her grace and warmth touched the hearts of many, leaving a legacy of love that will be deeply missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Liberty Township. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment for immediate family will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Christian Benevolent Association Foundation, providing compassionate care to those in need - CBA Foundation, 411 Western Row Rd., Mason, OH 45040.
