Edward “Ed” J. Leer , of Mason, Ohio, passed away August 6, 2023 in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 49. He was born March 9, 1974 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Jim and Donna Leer.
Ed graduated from Roger Bacon High School in 1992. He later went on to earn his graphic design degree from University of Cincinnati. With a gift for words, Ed published novels, a book of short stories, and a book of poems.
Ed is survived by: parents, Jim and Donna Leer; brother, Brian Leer; aunt, Monica Sellers; nephews, Jacob, Allan, and Liam Leer; and other loving family members and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Susanna Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be directed to UC Medical Center-Cardiology ICU Unit.
