Livestream Service for Frieda May Rowell
Frieda May Rowell
February 24, 1959 – May 4, 2026
Frieda May Rowell, 67, of Mason, Ohio, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on May 4, 2026, at approximately 3:00 a.m., with her children by her side.
Born February 24, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee, Frieda was the daughter of the late Junior and Mary Melton. She lived a life defined by love — for her family, her friends, her church, and above all, her God.
Frieda devoted 30 years of her life to nursing, serving patients with the same warmth and selflessness that marked everything she did. Though she retired from her career, she never retired from caring for others. Whether it was a neighbor in need, a stranger in passing, or a grandchild looking for a little extra spoiling, Frieda gave freely and joyfully. She knew no strangers and left no one behind.
She was a woman full of life — always up for a gathering, always ready for a meal shared with the people she loved, and always ready with a generous heart. Those who knew her well understood that who she was, came directly from her faith. She loved Jesus deeply, and it showed in everything she did.
Frieda is survived by her beloved husband, James Nelson Rowell; her son, Tim Rowell; her daughter, Tiffany Korte and her husband Matthew; her grandchildren, Richard Korte (20), Natalie Rowell (18), Owen Rowell (16), Seth Rowell (14), and Henri Korte (3); and her sister, Cheryl Gentry.
Funeral Service will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040.
