Gary Porteous

Gary Poeteus, age 83, passed away on April 29, 2025.

He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on March 2, 1942, to James and Sarah (nee Griffith) Porteous.

He is survived by his children Meg Porteous, Trish (Todd) Gregg, Heather (Gabriel) Sanders, and Jen (James) Rutherford. Nine grandchildren and brother Jack Porteous. Also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Gary was an avid fan of UC Bearcats sports; basketball was his favorite sport to watch but he really enjoyed them all. He also enjoyed golfing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

A visitation for Gary will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason OH 45040, on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM until the time of service at 12:30PM with burial to follow at West Chester Cemetery.
