James W Enfield

James W. Enfield, 91 of Maineville passed away on May 29, 2025. Born to Earl and Faye Enfield on April 6, 1934, in Warren, Ohio.

James worked as a computer programmer for many years at NCR, a native of the Dayton area.

He was an avid runner. James ran in several marathons all over the United States over the years and enjoyed how peaceful running was. He was a quiet and private man.

James collected Navy memorabilia. He was a veteran in the United States Navy serving four years as a radioman on the P3 Orion in the Korean War. His dedication for his country fell over to his son, Jay, who also served in the military.

A true gentleman with a caring heart, he is missed dearly.

Preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by his two sons, Jay Enfield and James Michael Enfield, grandson, Marshall Enfield and his niece and nephew, Mary Ellen Grass and Paul Westerfield.

James will be laid to rest in Dayton National Cemetery with military honors.
