James H. "Jim" Wakefield, of Kings Mills, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 27, 2020. He was born Tuesday, June 8, 1948 in Hamilton, Ohio to Howard E. and Ocie I. (nee Collier) Wakefield.

Jim thereafter opened a successful law firm, James H. Wakefield & Associates, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he specialized in civil litigation for nearly 30 years. In his spare time, Jim continued to spend time at the family farm, collected classic cars, and even raced cars with his race team, Iron Horse Racing. He loved all sports, especially football, and cheered for everyone just for the pure enjoyment of the game. He also was an avid reader and loved the movies. Jim's most favorite way to spend time, however, was with his wife and three kids whom he loved dearly.
