Jack “Jeff” Jefferies, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the age of 83. He was born Friday, April 14, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio to James Vernon and Virginia (nee Gerhardstein) Jefferies.
As a teenager, Jeff met the love of his life, Eleanor “Nonie” Witzman. It wasn’t long before the couple knew theirs was a love story that would stand the test of time. They were married Saturday, February 6, 1960 in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Reading, Ohio.
Jeff worked over 35 years at Proctor & Gamble as a Department Manager. When he retired you could find Jeff on the golf course. He belonged to a couple different leagues over the years and developed lifelong friendships. Jeff was a natural when it came to sports. He played on the Reading High School 1957 state championship baseball team and was voted a position on the South Ohio All-Star team. He also loved watching the Cincinnati Bengals and his grandchildren playing sports.
An avid collector, his most prized collection was his family and friends. There was truly nothing more important to Jeff than those he loved. His memory will forever be cherished by those that knew and loved him.
