Jeffrey Louis Anderson passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2026, at the age of 45.
Born on October 25, 1980, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeff lived a life centered around family, friendship, and helping others. Being a father was his greatest accomplishment and his favorite role in life. His greatest pride and joy were his three children, Landen (18), Olivia (15), and Jeffrey Jr. (12). He was always there to support them, whether it was a game, school event, activity, or simply spending time together. Jeff loved creating memories with his children and had a special way of taking ordinary moments and turning them into something unforgettable. He was always willing to go the extra mile to make things more fun, more meaningful, and more special for the people he loved.
Jeff graduated from La Salle High School, where he was a standout soccer player. He continued his soccer career at Northern Kentucky University, where he excelled on the field and developed a lifelong passion for the game. Soccer remained one of the defining parts of his life and ultimately led him to become a successful and respected coach. Over the years, Jeff mentored countless young athletes, including his own children, sharing not only his knowledge of the game but also lessons about teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, and character. The impact he had on the players and families he coached will be felt for years to come.
Professionally, Jeff built a successful career at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was respected for his leadership, professionalism, and commitment to helping patients and their families. He was known as a hardworking and dependable colleague who genuinely cared about the people around him.
Jeff will be remembered for his quick wit, great sense of humor, and ability to make others laugh. He had a way of bringing people together and making every gathering more enjoyable. Whether through a joke, a story, or simply his presence, he made those around him feel welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated.
Family was the foundation of Jeff's life. He shared a close and loving relationship with his parents, Thomas and Beverly Anderson, whose guidance and support meant the world to him. He was also deeply connected to his siblings, Brittany Reed and Kevin Anderson. Their bond remained strong throughout his life, and the memories they shared together will be treasured forever. Jeff was a proud uncle who loved spending time with his nieces and watching them grow.
Jeff is survived by his children, Landen Anderson (18), Olivia Anderson (15), and Jeffrey Anderson Jr. (12); his parents, Thomas and Beverly Anderson; his sister, Brittany Reed and her husband, Mike Reed; his brother, Kevin Anderson; his nieces, Haley Reed (11) and Lily Reed (8); and many extended family members, friends, colleagues, former players, and fellow coaches whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
