Jessica Lynn (Langenecker) Foster, age 40 of Fairfield Township, Ohio born into eternal life Monday, February 9, 2026 in Fairfield Township, Ohio. Born into this life February 27, 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Marci Langenecker and Daniel Crew. Survived by her beloved husband Arthur Foster and her beloved son Aiden Foster.
Jessica is remembered fondly by her son, Aiden, who described her personality as "bright as the color yellow." Together, they created lasting memories through fun art projects and indulged in delightful moments filled with yummy candy. Aiden was undoubtedly her proudest accomplishment, showcasing the depth of her love and devotion as a mother.
Her parents, Marci Langenecker and Daniel Crew, will carry the weight of her absence, as will her husband, Arthur Foster. Jessica was also a sister to Shawna (Michael Wagers) and Mary Elizabeth Crew and held a special place in the heart of her Godmother, Patti Hutton. She found further comfort and nurturing in the loving presence of her grandparents, Ted and Laura Crew. In addition, she leaves behind many loving family members and friends, including Katie Shomler and Jen Sledd, who will deeply miss her warmth and kindness.
In 2003 Jessica received The Governor's Award for the Arts in Ohio while attending McCauly High School. After graduating she attended Bohecker and began a new career as a medical assistant. She found great fulfilment in serving those in need of care with compassion and making a difference in their lives. This further inspired her to recently attend Miami University, where she was working towards a major in art therapy.
Throughout her life, Jessica had a profound love for animals and the outdoors, especially for her three beloved cats: Boo-Boo, Oreo, and Boots. She thrived in social settings, making connections with those around her, and sought out a career that allowed her to help others, demonstrating her caring nature and commitment to improving the lives of people in her community.
Jessica was predeceased by her great grandparents, Ted and Doretta Crew, her grandparents, Robert and Jean Langenecker, and her grandmother, Karen Scruggs. Their memories will live on in the hearts of her family and friends as they honor her legacy.
Visitation will take place on February 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at St. Susanna Catholic Church, located at 616 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio. The burial will follow at 12:30 PM at Spring Grove, 4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Jessica Lynn Foster touched many lives with her bright spirit, unwavering love, and a genuine desire to help others. Her legacy will endure through the love of her family and friends, who will cherish her memory forever.
The family asks for those who would like to honor Jessica's life, please wear some of her favorite colors purple, yellow or pink.
