Joyce E. Tucker

Joyce Tucker (nee Anderson), of Mason, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the age of 87. She was born Sunday, May 21, 1933 in Xenia, IL to Boyd and Evelyn (nee Kirkpatrick) Anderson.

Born the oldest sibling, Joyce was destined to be a caretaker. She hand-stitched many quilts over the years making sure each grandchild was wrapped in her love. If Joyce didn't have a needle in her hand she was most likely found nose deep in a book. Her talents carried through into the kitchen as she created family favorites like ham loaf and pot roast meals.

Joyce was preceded in death by: husband, Philip A. Tucker; parents, Boyd and Evelyn Anderson; and brother, John R. Anderson.

Joyce is survived by: daughters, Lynn (nee Monk) Grau and husband, Daniel Grau and Susan (nee Monk) McCulloch and husband James McCulloch; grandchildren, Erica (James) Owen, Andrew (Bethany) Grau, Dawn (David) Gomez, Joshua (Erin) Moore, and Gina (Jeff) Childers; 9 great-grandchildren; and other loving family members and friends.

Services will be held privately by the family at this time.
