Judith W. Hamann, affectionately known as Judi, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026. Born on May 21, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio, she lived a life marked by warmth, intellect, and boundless curiosity. A beloved market researcher by profession, Judi brought rigor and insight into her work while nurturing a spirit that embraced adventure and new experiences.

A proud graduate of Ohio State University, Judi cultivated a deep appreciation for learning and thoughtfulness which resonated in both her personal and professional life. Her radiant personality combined fun-loving enthusiasm with a calm and approachable demeanor, endearing her to all who knew her.

Judi’s life was richly filled with memorable journeys across North America, where her love for travel allowed her to explore and savor the diverse landscapes and cultures she so admired. Yet, it was her family that remained at the heart of her joys and deepest affections. Together with her husband of 60 years, Robert “Bob” Hamann, she built a home filled with love and enduring support. Judi cherished the adoption of her two sons, Robert Ralph Hamann and Jason Paul Hamann, embracing motherhood with unmatched devotion. Her greatest delight was found in her grandchildren, Jackson and Charlie Hamann, for whom she held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her loving husband Bob, her sons Robert Hamann and Jason Hamann, and her treasured grandchildren Jackson Hamann and Charlie Hamann. Judi was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Elizabeth Welsh, and her siblings William, Paul, and Vickie.
