Julius Anthony Luciano, Jr., beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home in Maineville, Ohio, on November 8, 2025. Born on May 5, 1953, in Rahway, New Jersey, Julius led a life characterized by love, laughter, and dedicated service.
Julius enjoyed a fulfilling career as an MRI technician for Oxford, Toshiba and Canon Medical for 40 years, where his commitment to his profession was matched only by his dedication to his family. He was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Navy, a testament to his enduring sense of duty and sacrifice.
A man of many interests, Julius found joy in simple pleasures. He cherished quiet moments on his back porch with a cigarette and tumbler of whiskey. He relished experiences such as attending the Kentucky Derby, fishing, and traveling with his sons. His witty and sarcastic nature was complemented by a deep empathy, care, and generosity that he freely shared with those around him. Those who were fortunate enough to know him will remember that he expressed love through playful banter; if he did not tease you, it was a sign of his indifference.
He took pride in being an avid supporter of his grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jaxon Richardson, attending their various functions to cheer them on with unwavering enthusiasm.
Julius is survived by his two sons, Greg (Sarah) Richardson and Julius (Brianna) Luciano, III, and his cherished grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jaxon Richardson. He rejoins in peace his loving wife, Susan Ann Elizabeth (nee Hesselbrock) Luciano; his father, Julius Anthony Luciano, Sr.; his mother, Marilyn (nee Leighton) Giuliani; his step-dad, Victor Giuliani; two siblings; and his loyal dog, Lucky.
Visitation will be held on November 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, located at 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM.
Memorial donations may be directed to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Julius Anthony Luciano, Jr. will be remembered as a dedicated professional, a loving family man, and a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness and warmth will continue to inspire those left behind.
