In Loving Memory of Kathy Baur

With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Kathy Baur, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, dedicated patient advocate, faithful servant of God, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kathy’s greatest joy was her family. She was the loving and supportive wife of Robert Baur, and together they built a home centered on faith, love, kindness, and unwavering support. She was an extraordinary mother who encouraged, comforted, and inspired her children every day of their lives. As a grandmother, she delighted in every hug, laugh, milestone, and memory, loving each of her grandchildren with all her heart.

A woman of deep and abiding faith, Kathy was an active member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, where she lived her beliefs through compassion, generosity, and service to others. Her faith guided every aspect of her life and was evident in the way she loved people—with grace, humility, and a servant’s heart.

For 34 years, Kathy faithfully served as both a Radiology Technologist and patient advocate with TriHealth. Caring for others wasn’t simply her profession—it was her calling. Patients, coworkers, friends, and family alike experienced her gentle spirit, calming presence, and genuine compassion.

If there was a game, recital, concert, graduation, or special event, Kathy was there. She was the family’s biggest cheerleader, never missing an opportunity to support her children and grandchildren. Her encouragement, pride, and unconditional love will forever echo in their hearts.

Kathy also had a remarkable gift for hospitality. Her home was more than a house—it was a place of comfort, laughter, and belonging. Whether you had known her for decades or had just met her, she welcomed you with open arms, a warm smile, a lot of food, and a caring heart. Everyone who entered her home left feeling like family.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Baur; her mother, Mary Antoccia; her children Mike (Stephanie) Baur, Alicia Baur (Brandon Lloyd), Angela (Francisco) Garcia, and David Baur (Michael Zahler); her grandchildren Annabelle, Robert, and Allison Baur; Kalianne Lloyd and Adalia Baur; Lexi, and Cristian Garcia; and her sisters Marianne Keck, Carole Glassford, and Tina Dartouzos.

While Kathy leaves behind hearts that will miss her beyond words, she also leaves an enduring legacy of faith, compassion, generosity, and unconditional love. She taught those around her how to care for others, how to lead with kindness, and how to trust in God through every season of life.

Her family finds comfort knowing she has been welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior, where pain has given way to everlasting peace.

The measure of Kathy’s life was not in the years she lived, but in the countless lives she touched through her faith, compassion, kindness, and unconditional love. She leaves a legacy that will continue to live on in her family and in everyone blessed enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
