Kathy Kuo Harper

Kathy Kuo Harper, born Kuo ChunLuan on October 21, 1963, in Taiwan, passed away peacefully at her residence in Mason, Ohio, on September 27, 2025 at the age of 61. Before marriage, Kathy was an elementary school teacher in Taiwan. Her love of teaching never left her.

Kathy was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Kathy was known for her joyous spirit and her love for being surrounded by friends and neighbors. She had a natural gift for cooking and would delight loved ones with her original recipes that reflected her creativity and passion for food.

Family was of paramount importance to Kathy. She cherished every moment spent with her husband, Sean Harper, and her daughter, Francesca "Nini" Harper, to whom she passed on her love of music and gift for language. Kathy's nurturing nature extended to her siblings, Kuo KuoMi, Kuo ChunChou, and Kuo KuoYu. Her legacy continues through several nieces and nephews, who will always remember her.

In addition to her love for family and cooking, Kathy had a profound love for travel, embracing new experiences and cultures, which enriched her life and the lives of those around her.

Kathy is now reunited with her parents, Kuo Chiwen and Kuo SuYun, who preceded her in death. While her absence will be felt deeply, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
