Kip Kuhn

Kip Kuhn, age 51 of Mason, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Kip was born on May 13, 1974, in Richmond, Indiana. He grew up in Mason, Ohio and graduated from William Mason High School in 1992, continuing his education at the University of Cincinnati. His passions were baseball, music, poetry, Freemasonry and the charity involved with that. He was eager for all the charity work he was going to accomplish this year as he stepped into the role of Master of the Lodge. His greatest pride and joy was coaching his son's Little League team and watching him play throughout high school and into college. He was looking forward to traveling with his wife to watch him play in college games.                       

Kip is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Witterstaetter; his son, Austin Witterstaetter; his mother, Nora Lema; his brother, Mason Stemann; parents-in-law Bob and Sherry Witterstaetter; brother-in-law Rob (Priya) Witterstaetter; sister-in-law Katie (Dave) Rader; and his Aunts Marjy (George) Wiseman, and Carol Allen; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Kip is preceded in death by his father, Steve Lema, his beloved cousin Krissy, and his grandparents, Joe and Marjorie Smith, and Eddie and Leah Lema.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. Masonic services will begin at 7:00 PM, followed immediately by his funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kip’s name can be made to the Mason Challenger League.
