Kyle M. Rea, born on September 28, 1974, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on April 27, 2026, in Mason, Ohio. It is with profound respect and admiration that we remember his life and the legacy he leaves behind.
Kyle was a man of many passions and talents. He loved to read and had a deep appreciation for history, always eager to learn more about the world around him. His culinary skills were well known among family and friends, reflecting his love for cooking. Travel brought him great joy, especially visits to the ocean, with Aruba holding a special place in his heart. An avid sports fan, Kyle enjoyed watching golf and cherished the game of baseball. He was also a devoted follower of college football, initially supporting Ohio State University before becoming a loyal fan of Alabama football, inspired by his daughter Lauren’s connection to the team.
His meticulous nature extended into his personal surroundings, and Kyle took immense pride in his landscaping. This care and attention to detail mirrored the way he approached all aspects of his life.
Among Kyle’s proudest accomplishments was completing law school, a testament to his dedication and perseverance. Yet, nothing brought him greater pride than his beautiful daughter, Lauren, who was central to his life. Family was always his number one priority. He showed great patience and love in teaching Lauren how to drive, a reflection of the strong bond they shared. Beyond his family, Kyle was deeply committed to capturing moments and memories through his love of taking pictures.
Kyle is survived by his beloved wife, Vicki; his daughter, Lauren; his mother, Rita; and his parents-in-law, Peter and Sofia and one sister. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael, whose memory he honored throughout his life.
A visitation will be held on May 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, located at 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040. This will be followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Please join us for a reception to honor Kyle's life in the Mueller Family Center located at Mueller Funeral home following memorial services from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Kyle M. Rea’s life was one marked by dedication, love, and a sincere zest for living. He will be remembered with great affection and respect by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
