Lillian 'Bobbie' Ferrell

Lillian “Bobbie” Ferrell, age 91, earned her wings on Tuesday May 16, 2023.  Born,  February 17th, 1932 to Floyd and Linda (Keene) Blankenship in Argo, Kentucky.  Loving Mother, Devoted Wife, Preceded in Death by her husband Carl, whom she was married to and loved for 72 years.  As a friend said to us this week, Mom had a plan, she spent her last Mother’s Day with us, and then off to see her guy.  Carl  would have been 99 on 5/17, we can only imagine the celebration they are having in Heaven.   That was our Mom, always thinking of others, and not herself.  Mom spent a selfless life making sure that her kids had all that they needed.  A loving mother to Glenn Ferrell (Susan), Linda Ferrell,  Carol Dick (Kenny) and Janet Nelson (David).  Amazing Grandmother to 10, Blake, Micah, Hannah, Noah, Angela, Travis, Aaron, Trevor, Kelsey, and Alexis.   Great Grandmother to 17.

Her ability to do anything surpassed her level of education, she was the smartest woman we knew.   Her ability to love all of us, and make each and everyone feel special, amazed us every day.  She could brighten anyone’s day with a smile, or a witty remark.  She leaves behind a legacy of strength and determination like no other that we have seen.  No task was too big, no job to small.  We will miss her each and every day.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 24th at Mueller Funeral Home, Mason, Ohio.  Visitation from 12:30-1:15,  Service at 1:15, Private family burial following service.  Lunch will be provided to all at Manor House Event Center beginning at 1:45 to celebrate the life of Bobbie.
