Lorene Simpson

Lorene Simpson (nee Allen), 83 of West Chester, OH passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Lorene was born in Welchburg, KY to Parkie and Icy Allen.

Lorene was a kindhearted and loving person with a smile that would capture your heart. She had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh that would excite the room. Lorene was a "mother" to hundreds of babies and young children during the years she hosted childcare in her home. She was a faith filled woman and was a Prayer Warrior with a prayer list two inches thick. If you knew Lorene, you know she always had pink nails and a French twist hairdo. Lorene's great sense of humor also brought out the fact she "ruled with an iron skillet" when wanted to get your attention. She is loved and will be missed.

Lorene is the beloved wife of William 'Bill' Simpson, devoted mother of Tammy (John) Shumate and Bill Simpson, loving grandma of Jessie (Eric) Angulo and Amanda Shumate and great grandma of Henry Angulo, dear sister of Betty Sue Coffey and the late Hubert and Albert Allen, Norma Jean Peters and Pauline Burch.

Visitation will be at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 12 noon until time of Memorial Service at 1:30 PM. Reception will immediately follow service in the Mueller Family Center.
