Mariann Lawson

Mariann J. Lawson, 69 of Liberty Township, passed away on July 24, 2023. Born to Lewis and Dorothea (nee Mathis) Johnson on March 22, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mariann was excellent at sewing. It was her hobby and her passion, and it sure showed in every piece she made. She took pride in her garden and her flowers. They reminded her of a small piece of Hawaii, which happened to be her favorite place to travel too.

Mariann and her husband, Ken and their friends traveled seven times to beautiful Hawaii. Every trip got better and better. She enjoyed seeing the sights of such a gorgeous place, having her feet in the sand and watching the waves for hours. Mariann took lots of pictures of her travels and spent extra time taking walks with her friends.

She was a devoted mother and wife, and a determined and loving woman. She will be missed greatly.

Preceded in death by her parents, Lewis, and Dorothea Johnson.

Mariann is survived by her beloved husband for over 45 years, Ken Lawson, two children, Bradford Lawson, and Bethany (Jesse) Bamber, four grandchildren, Zachary, Aubrey, Rebecca and Olivia Bamber, sister, Betty Bennett and two nephews, Jeremiah (Shannon) Rieke and Jonathan Rieke.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29th from 1:00-3:00pm with a memorial service at 3:00pm all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the St Jude Foundation.
