Marjorie Anne Smith

Marjorie Anne Smith (nee Price), 96 of Mason, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Thursday March 6, 2025. Born to John and Jessie (nee Marlin) Price on November 7, 1928, in Dayton, Ohio.

Marjorie was the ultimate mother and grandma devoting her life to her family and loving every second of their endless vacations and holiday gatherings. If a room was filled with her family and music, she would be the happiest women in the world.

She had such a passion for dancing, singing and just sitting in her chair listening to music. Elvis was her favorite, but she would listen to any music for hours if she could.

Marjorie was an avid Cincinnati Reds baseball fan who cheered on the home team every time. She also enjoyed doing her Word Search books.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Jessie, sister, Mary Duddey and the father of her children, Homer Lee Smith.

Marjorie is survived by her children, David (Cindy) Smith, Beverly “Bev” (Tom) Klug, Deborah “Debbie” (Dana) Shafer, Gary Smith, Linda (Richard) Lau, Jacqueline “Jackie” (Junior) Burlile, twelve grandchildren, Jeffrey, Sandra Jo “Joey” (Josh), Stephanie (Casey), Jamie, Michael, Rebecca “Becky” (Jeff), Todd (Kate), Gidget, Franny (Jerry), River, Joshua and Tiffany (Derrick), twenty seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. In addition, she is also survived by ten step grandchildren, twenty-seven step great grandchildren and forty-four step great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th from 11:30-12:30pm with a funeral service at 12:30pm all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Rd Mason, OH 45040. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Hospice of Cincinnati.
