Mark Jay Ellis

Mark Jay Ellis, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2025. Throughout his 62 years of life, he embodied a spirit of kindness and warmth to all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Gina; children, Garrett (Kearstin) and Lauren; grandchildren, Delaney, Chase, and Sydney; siblings, Jerry (Nancy) Ellis and Sandy Ellis; father-in-law, Gerald Gaunt; sister-in-law, Heidi Anderson; and brother-in-law, Jerry (Katrina) Gaunt, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives he touched.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Ellis; mother, Shirley (nee Schmolitz) Ellis; and mother-in-law, Yvonne Gaunt.

In celebrating the life of Mark Jay Ellis, we remember a kind man with a warm presence, whose hands worked hard to provide, nourish and care for his family. His steadfast faith in the saving grace of Jesus, the joy he found in the beauty of creation, and his legacy of love will endure in the hearts of his family and friends.
