Martin John Eysoldt passed away surrounded by his family on January 31, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born on March 21, 1948, to the late Marty Eysoldt and Sylvia (nee Billiter) Eysoldt. In addition to his parents, Marty is preceded in death by his brothers, Vince (Kay) Eysoldt and Jimmy (Debbie) Eysoldt; sister, Sis (the late Jim) Stofko; as well as his dear in-laws, Bill Blankemeyer and Ramona Rich.
Marty is survived by his cherished wife of 55 years, Arleen (nee Blankemeyer) Eysoldt and his precious sister, Gloria Bell.
He was a loving and protective father to his daughter, Kim (Tim) Southerland, Kelly (fiancé Michael) Huber and Heather (partner Aser) Eysoldt; his son, Eric Eysoldt; known as “pop-pop” and “papaw” to his loving grandchildren, Tanner (Karla) Southerland, McKenna Clark, Billy Southerland, Jillian Huber, Olivia Clark, Ben Southerland, Ava Huber, Austin Southerland, Presley Clark and Sydney Southerland. Marty also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many dear friends.
Marty graduated from Moeller High School in 1967 where he played football as the Quarterback. He received many college recruiting letters to continue playing football at the next level. Due to illness his junior year that did not come to fruition, but with that he found the love of his life in Mason, Ohio, and they married and had 4 children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040, and the funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions in Marty’s honor may be made to CMT Research Foundation, or please plant a memorial tree in memory of Marty Eysoldt.
