Mary Joyce Patterson

Mary "Joyce" Patterson, lovingly known as Joyce, passed away on March 1, 2026, in Blue Ash, Ohio, at the age of 84. Born on May 28, 1941, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, Joyce was a beloved figure in her community, known for her bubbly personality and her ability to make friends wherever she went. Her extroverted nature shone brightly, and she was affectionately referred to as "Grannie" by the neighborhood children.

Joyce was not just a cherished member of her family; she was also deeply devoted to her interests and hobbies. A passionate singer, she was an active member of Tri County Baptist Church, where she found joy in sharing her voice with others. In addition to her musical talents, Joyce had a love for shopping and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as watching and feeding the birds and small animals alongside her husband.

She was most proud of her family, which was central to her heart. She is survived by her caring husband, William "Ron" Patterson; her son, Mike Patterson (Usebia); her beloved grandchildren, Josh Patterson, Zach Patterson (Annie), and Eusebia "Sebbie" Patterson; her sister, Caroline Fowler; and her sister-in-law, Carol Patterson.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Porter and Catherine (nee Hoagland) Bibb, and her brother, Earl Bibb. The warmth and kindness she spread throughout her life will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on March 11, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, located at 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040, followed by a Funeral Service from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A Graveside Service will take place the following day, March 12, 2026, at Arlington Memorial Gardens, located at 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231, starting at 2:30 PM.

Joyce leaves behind a rich legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to inspire her family and friends for generations to come.
