Paul B. Spoonland, 58 of Liberty Township, OH passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 21, 2021. Paul was born in Park River, North Dakota to Ambrose and Ilah Spoonland.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Phyllis (Sellheim) Spoonland, daughters Chloe (Jeremy) Levy and Sadie Spoonland, his loving grandchildren Charlie and Rylie Levy, siblings Beth (Bill) Ward, Joan (Rod) Schanilec and Ross (Tracy) Spoonland, and In-laws Richard and Irene Sellheim and many other family and friends.
Paul was soft spoken but when something mattered to him, it was quite apparent. Behind the tough exterior was a kind heart and a man that would do anything for the people he loved. The love between Paul and his wife was always something his children admired and aspired to have one day. Paul was a hard-working family man. Everything he did somehow related back to his family. He enjoyed when family would come to visit and when he got the opportunity to travel to visit them. Paul loved working on cars, especially his ‘66 Chevelle, which will be kept as a priceless treasure by his daughter, Chloe. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and cheering on the Bengals with his daughter. However, making his two grandkids laugh was the hi-lite of his day. They were the stars in his eyes. His memory will be carried on by his friends and family, his jokes will still be told around a dinner table and his stories will never cease to make people say “what a crazy guy”.
Family services will be PRIVATE.
If desired, memorial may be directed to Animal Friends Humane Society or Donate Life Ohio
