Philip Terry Pittman, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Hamilton, Ohio. He was born on June 16, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Philip lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love for his family. He devoted over 27 years to valiantly battling Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a journey that began when he was given only a 20% chance of living more than five years.

Philip's career commenced at the Fernald atomic energy facility, working for the National Lead Company. In 1970, he transitioned to Cincinnati Electronics, formerly known as AVCO Electronics. He ultimately joined GE Aircraft Engines, where he worked in Military Systems at the Evendale, Ohio facility until his early retirement in 2004 due to health challenges. Among his proudest accomplishments, Philip secured the F101 contract for the B1 Bombers while at GE, a testament to his skill and dedication in the field.

An educated man, Philip was a 1962 graduate of Wyoming High School and earned a B.S. degree from Defiance College in 1967. He was known for his generous nature, quietly helping others in need without seeking acknowledgment. Gifted with a mind for numbers and finance, Philip willingly shared his expertise with those around him. His deep faith was a cornerstone of his life; he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in the fourth grade and was an active member of various churches throughout his life, including Wyoming Presbyterian Church, Trinity Baptist Church, Landmark Baptist Church, Wesleyan West Chester Church, and Providence Bible Fellowship.

Philip enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head Island, and Daytona Beach. He had a passion for boating on Caesar's Creek and Brookville Lake. Following his retirement, he delighted in spending quality time with his grandchildren and had a special affection for gifting them with Frosty treats.

Philip is survived by his beloved wife, Adrienne L. (nee Casterline) Pittman, whom he married in 1971. He is also survived by his sons, Philip "Michael" Pittman and Jonathan William (Melissa) Pittman, and his grandchildren: Joseph, Jimmy, William, Dana, Andrew, Molly, and Alex Pittman. He leaves behind his brother, David W. (Barbara) Pittman; his sister, Carol J. (Chester) Maupin; and many other loving family members, including Alyson Pittman, Brad Pittman, Greg Maupin, and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Jane (nee Creager) Pittman, and his first wife, Mary Patricia, whom he married in 1966 and who passed away on December 25, 1970, following a prolonged illness with a brain tumor.
