Rex Daniel Phelps , 61 of West Chester, passed away on March 9, 2023. Born to Louis and Eva J. (nee Turner) Phelps on August 2, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio
Rex loved everything about motorcycles and was a huge Harley Davidson fan. Being on the open road and with his friends that he considered his family, the bond and relationships he made can never be replaced. Rex also had a love for being outside, warm weather and Hawaii. Although he never made it to Hawaii, he made sure to bring Hawaii to him, even had a Tiki Bar and Umbrella on his porch. There was no match to his sense of humor, he would get so chuckled in telling his jokes, he made you pause with his laughter before you could even get the punchline. He had a heart of gold and loved giving gifts and taking care of close friends and family. He never wanted to see anyone do without or be in need, he always gave what he could to anyone. He will be remembered by so many as he was quite the character.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Eva J. Phelps, brother, Ricky Phelps and sisters, Helen Sue (Cecil) Colwell and Deborah Linda Kidd.
Rex is survived by his siblings, Roger (Anne) Phelps, and Andrea Gail (Bill) Prewitt and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 18th from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM with a funeral service at 10:30 AM all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Interment will be at West Chester Cemetery.
