Richard Rodgers

Richard Allen Rodgers, age 82, passed away peacefully in the evening hours of Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was born to the late Paul James and Emma (Ring) Rodgers on April 20, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio.  Richard was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He was a proud veteran in the United States Air Force.  He later went on and retired from Ford after many years of service.  Richard is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joan (Grieshop) Rodgers; children Rick (Leslie) Rodgers, Carol (Matt) Rodgers-Rivir; four grandchildren Jaimie (Marshall) Kern, Nicholas Rodgers, Lauren Rodgers, Lindsey Rodgers; three great grandchildren Haylie Kern, Bentley Kern, Sophia Kern and sister Pat (Ken) Coverdell.  A visitation will take place at St. Susanna Catholic Church on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 9:30am-11:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30am.  Burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.muellerfunerals.com
