Ronald "Ron" Sherrick

Ronald “Ron” Bruce Sherrick went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Ron was born on September 4, 1966, to James and Patricia (Boop) Sherrick of Delphos, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia, whom he dearly loved and missed.

On April 13, 1996, Ron married the love of his life, Melissa (Wilson) Sherrick. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, unwavering love, and deep devotion to their family.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Melissa Sherrick; their two children, Jared (Adrian) Sherrick of Oregon, Wisconsin and Katie Sherrick of Cincinnati; his father, James Sherrick; his four siblings, Burlin (Rebecca) Sherrick of Elida, Ohio, Barry (Tami) Sherrick of Suwanee, Georgia, Susan (Tracy) McPheron of Huber Heights, Ohio, and Carin (Tony) Nguyen of Lima, Ohio.

Ron was a loving husband, proud father, cherished brother, faithful son, and wonderful son-in-law. He loved traveling, cooking, reading, and watching history movies. He was also an avid fan of the Bengals and Reds, faithfully saying, “There’s always next season.” Most of all, Ron cherished time with his family, and the love he poured into them will be treasured forever.

Ron dedicated 43 years to the electrical supply trade, most recently serving 16 years with CBT Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. He finished his career as Vice President of Electrical Sales. He was respected for his leadership, vision, and steady presence. Ron was a natural born leader and a visionary who left a lasting impression on everyone blessed enough to know him.

He had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, valued, and encouraged. His quick wit, strength, wisdom, and generous heart touched countless lives. Whether through a perfectly timed joke, clever comment, or words of encouragement, Ron had a gift for bringing laughter and smiles to those around him. He will be remembered not only for what he accomplished, but for the way he loved, led, and lifted others. Ron’s legacy of faith, compassion, leadership, and love will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues forever.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on June 18, 2026, from 11AM to 1PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040, with the service immediately following at 1PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or the Ronald McDonald House of Cincinnati.
