Shawn Mansfield

Shawn L. Mansfield, a beloved husband, father, brother, and lifelong learner, passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 54. He was born on June 25, 1971, and dedicated the last 27 years of his professional life to Procter and Gamble. Shawn pursued his passion for education with tenacity, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, followed by a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.

Among his many achievements, Shawn regarded raising his sons, Kieran, and Tristan, as his greatest accomplishment. He was a nurturing father who fostered their growth and encouraged their dreams, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by his family.

To many, Shawn was not just a dedicated professional but a vibrant spirit whose zest for life was palpable. He had a profound love for travel and cherished attending live music events and performances. His adventurous side shone through in his enjoyment of backpacking and hiking. He was especially devoted to his dogs, who were considered part of the family and brought joy to his daily life.

Shawn is survived by his loving spouse, Rachel Rose-Mansfield; his sons, Kieran, and Tristan Mansfield; and his sisters, Katrina (Dennis) Davis and Jennifer Garst, and many loving friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Gerry Mansfield.

A visitation to celebrate Shawn's life will be held on March 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, located at 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040. In the spirit of celebrating Shawn's vibrant personality, guests are encouraged to wear an article of clothing that adds color to their day, honoring his choice to embrace life fully.

Shawn’s departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his legacy of love, learning, and adventure will endure through his family and all whose lives he touched.
