Shelby J. Biedenkopf (nee Gilpin), long-time resident of Mason, passed away peacefully Friday, January 20, 2023 at the age of 85. She was born Wednesday, May 5, 1937 in Casey County, Kentucky to Vernell and Hazel (nee Luttrel) Gilpin.
Shelby owned and operated a ceramic studio in Mason for years. She worked closely with the schools and helped the middle school get a kiln. Shelby will be forever loved by all those toched by her kindness.
Shelby was preceded in death by: parents, Vernell and Hazel Gilpin; son, Tony Devine; and 12 siblings.
Shelby is survived by: daughter, Darlene Squillace; grandsons, Skylar and Nicholas Squillace; and other loving family members and friends.
A graveside service will be Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
