Shirley Mae Morris

Shirley Mae Morris, a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026. She was born on January 30, 1937, in Jenkins, Kentucky, to William Lloyd and Eva Beatrice Robinson. Shirley lived a life defined by patience, independence, and an outspoken spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. For 30 years, Shirley was a faithful member of the Loveland Park Baptist Church, where her deep-rooted faith served as a foundation for her life. Known for her quick wit and love of laughter, Shirley's sense of humor was a gift to her family and friends.

Shirley’s passions reflected her nurturing and creative soul. She was an avid reader and found great peace in sewing and hand embroidery. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family, who were the true center of her world.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Roberta Lyn Bishop, Paula J. Gibson, and Stacey Jo Morris; grandchildren, Thomas Robert (Renata) Bishop, Elizabeth Mae Ranz, Kelly Nicole (Marco) Elam, Morris Allen Miller, Rachel Lyn (Aaron) Ogle, and Nathan Joseph Miller; great-grandchildren, Mason, Hunter, Micah, Gabriel, Arthur, and Remington; brother, Richard (Dawn) Robinson; along with many other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Robert Ellis “BOHB” Morris; and her brothers, Clayton Robinson, Alford “Bud” Robinson, and Douglas Robinson.

A visitation to honor Shirley’s life will be held on May 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:30 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, located at 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040. Burial will take place at Morrow Cemetery.
