Shirley Russell

Shirley Jean Russell (nee Worth), 90 of Mason passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025. Born to William and Jeannette (nee Neumann) Worth on February 17, 1935, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Shirley had a passion for all things related to art, having attended the University of Cincinnati where she studied fashion design. Family was most important to her and she loved seeing her family grow over the years. She very much enjoyed supporting her kids and grandkids in their respective activities, whether it be sports, fishing, boating, wildlife excursions or equestrian events. She loved the time she spent on Sand Key, FL., where she made many lifelong friends. If you know Shirley, you know she loved shopping and had a passion for shoes, jewelry and anything that sparkled. Our world will be a little dimmer without her sparkle.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald ‘Donzie’ Russell and brother Robert W. Worth.

Shirley is survived by her loving children, Douglas (Sharon) Russell, Donna Russell and Jeffrey (Melania) Russell, grandchildren, Jarrod, Alex, Haylee, James (Nicole), Casey (Brittany) and Carley (Chris Kidd), great grandchildren, Felix, Wittleigh, Jayce, Austyn, Charleigh, Ryleigh, Beau and Levi along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14th from 10:00-11:00am with a memorial service at 11:00am all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Cincinnati Zoo or St Jude Research Foundation.
