Stanley D. Kephart

Stanley D. Kephart, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the age of 75. He was born Wednesday, March 26, 1947 in Van Wert, Ohio to Herbert D. and Elizabeth Louise (nee McGannon) Kephart.

Stan married the love of his life, Susan C. Frank, on August 26, 1972. Together, they raised three children in a home filled with laughter and love. Often described as "the best man you will ever meet", Stan had a love of basketball that he shared with family and friends. As grandchildren began entering the world, Stan found himself at a new level of love. They had truly stolen his heart.

Stan was born with the grace that allowed him to get things done others had given up on. Leaving many life lessons behind, he was best at remaining calm so that he could stop and calmly think the situation through. His love, laughter and lessons will carry on in the hearts of all those he loved.

Stan was preceded in death by: parents, Herbert and Louise Kephart; and brother-in-law, Larry Corell.

Stan is survived by: wife, Sue Kephart; children, Barry Kephart, Jenny (Brian) Abel, and Steve Kephart; grandchildren, Katrina Kephart, Tiana Abel, Ashley Abel, Lexie Abel, Carson Abel, and McKinzie Abel; great-grandson, Christopher Kephart; sister, Penny Corell; and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, May 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 101 S. Lebanon Road, Loveland, Ohio 45140. Interment will immediately follow in West Chester Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church .
