Tari Torbeck

August 5, 1952 — December 1, 2025

Springfield Twp

Tari Ann (nee Miracle) Torbeck, 73 of Springfield Twp, passed away on December 1, 2025. Born to Robert and Betty Rae (nee Scott) Miracle on August 5, 1952, in Norwood, Ohio.

Tari was the definition of creative. She could sew just about anything into a quilt, blanket, or curtains. She had the master seamstress thumb that made the most beautiful creations that her family grew to love and cherish.

She also had a passion for cooking and baking. Making the best candy, cookies and cakes for her friends and family. Her love language was to “give”, and she was always doing so. Whether it was hosting gathers, volunteering her time at church, or creating beautiful items for the craft shows she attended yearly.

Tari was a dedicated parishioner at St Maximilian Kolbe Church since 1996. She was active in the Young at Heart Group, took numerous bus trips through the church and helped with many lunches. She even took time to teach others how to sew at church.

Her hobbies included all things outdoors, boating, camping, water skiing and laying out on the back of the boat. A peaceful place with her family by her side is all Tari needed. She enjoyed their company on vacations and holidays. They grew close as she worked alongside them at the Auto Shop for over 40 years.

Tari was strong, kind and caring. She loved people and people loved her. She was positive and left you with a smile that lasted days.

Preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved daughter, Decena Rae Torbeck Zepeda.

Tari is survived by her husband, Dan Torbeck, sons, Michael (Carrie) Torbeck and Adam (Michelle) Torbeck, grandchildren, Taylor (Jacob) Gray, Rylee Torbeck, Joshua Torbeck, Mileena Torbeck and Miguel Agustin, sisters, Sharon ‘Sis’ (DeWayne) Strunk and Lori Buck( the late- Michael Buck) and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th from 9:30-11:00am with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am all at St Maximilian Kolbe Church, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011.
