Wallace Gene Marshall, 96, of Fairfield, Ohio went to his Heavenly home on April 9th, 2026. His Grandson Luke Marshall played his guitar throughout the night from grandpa’s favorite hymns. His son Steve Marshall was present saying it was an honor to hold his dad when he went to his heavenly home.
Wallace Gene Marshall was born in Roselawn Kansas on February 17th, 1930, to Dempsey & Nora Marshall. Wallace (Wally) became a Christian at the age of 7 and never looked back. Wally met Ann Martin on her first day of college in Frankfort, Indiana where they both attended and graduated.
Wallace pastored his first church in Columbia City, Indiana where (Bob) Robert Wallace, (Steve) Charles Stephen, and Laura Ann were born. In 1958 Wallace & Ann with the three children traveled to the British West Indies on the Island of Antigua as missionary’s where Wallace pastored the St. Johns Pilgrim Holiness Church and started an elementary school. A few years later Wallace and family traveled to Barbados where he was the Pastor of the White Park Pilgrim Holiness Church and soon starting a college which is still in operation today.
After spending 5 years in the mission field Wallace and our family returned to the United States in Cincinnati, Ohio where Wallace became the pastor of the Madisonville Pilgrim Holliness Church until 1968 moving to what is now West Chester, Ohio to pastor the Maud Wesleyan Church on Tylersville Road. Wallace retired from the ministry in 1995 with his wife Ann where she taught elementary education for Lakota Schools. Wallace and Ann were married 69 years until her passing in 2019. Wallace Marshall found a new place to minister at Story Point Senior Living until 2026. He was the best.
Wallace Marshall was preceded in death by his wife Ann, his daughter Valerie, and his Grandson Brandon. Wallace and Ann had five children, (Bob) Robert Wallace Marshall and Lois, (Steve) Charles Stephen Marshall and Sharon, Laura Ann Melson and Steve, Valerie Sue Bell (deceased) and James Allen Marshall and Pam. Wallace and Ann had 17 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by many.
