WANDA CARROLL (GREEN) MARTIN
Wanda Carroll (Green) Martin, 75, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on June 28, 2026. She was born on March 3, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of John and Shirley Green.
Wanda graduated from Mason High School with the Class of 1969. After the birth of her two daughters, she dedicated herself to being a homemaker. Later, she turned her passion for baking into a successful cake business that brought joy to many. Wanda enjoyed cooking, crafting, and playing computer games. She was loved by all who knew her and had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel like family. She was especially proud of her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence Martin; her parents, John and Shirley Green; and her sister, Deborah Babb. She is survived by her siblings, John Green (Becky), Kathryn Baxter (Harold), Donald Green, and Lisa Mobley (Bob); her daughters, Pamela (Brad) Cox and Melissa (Scott) Stewart; her five grandchildren, Brittany (Shane) Brown, Ashley (Derrick) Holt, Erica (Travis) Holt, Jacob Stewart, and Sandra (Shannon) Cox; and her seven great-grandchildren, Aiden Brown, Carson Stewart, Bradyn Cox, Bailey Holt, Storm Smalley, Charlotte Holt, and Slade Smalley. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
A service celebrating Wanda’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Rest Haven Cemetery, 10209 Plainfield Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Wanda’s memory may make a donation to a hospice organization of their choice.
