William 'Bill' Pitmon

William ‘Bill’ Andrew Pitmon , 83 of Mason, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Born to Lee and Alice (nee Whitaker) Pitmon on June 22, 1937 in Crescentville, Ohio.

Bill had a love for cars, building and working on them was his passion. Attending car shows and cruise ins with friends and family was also something that he very much enjoyed. Bill spent all his free time in the garage, he could usually be found there working on cars or sometimes sitting with friends talking about his car projects and plans. Bill was a member of the Tri State Mustangs and Fastiques Car Club for many years.

Preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Alice Pitmon, seven siblings, nephew, Johnny Pitmon and son-in-law, Eddie Byrd.

He is survived by his wife of almost 46 years, Sharon (nee Hansen) Pitmon, four daughters, Sheila (Jerry) Porter, Vicki (Greg) Byrd, Tammy (Larry) Brookbank and Leanne (Randy) Kolbet. Nine grandchildren, Krista, Nick (Sheena), Brian, Casey, Katie, Jackson, Joey, Grant and Kellie, one great-grandson, Easton and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13th from 2:00-2:30pm with a memorial service at 2:30pm all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Memorial donations are requested in Bill’s name to St Jude Children’s Research.
